It is significant in that it was the first and only course where [[supergliding]] was used, and that it has the fastest NU 3lap, NG 3lap, and NG flap of all 32 tracks, essentially making it the shortest track in the game.

SNES Ghost Valley 2 has a 3lap viable [[ultra shortcut]], which uses [[wallclips]] and [[barrel rolls]], and in the flap variant, a [[delayed lap count]] [[wallclips]] and [[supersliding]]. Outside the ultra shortcut, it also currently benefits from the use of [[superhopping]] in both 3lap and flap categories, while also [[supersliding]] in flap categories. Hence, it has three 3lap and three flap categories. However, no TAS exists for a No Ultra 3lap which implements glitches, so the No Glitch 3lap is the No Ultra 3lap record for the time being.
