'''Ejay B''', or simply '''Ejay''', is an Australian [[Tool-assisted speedrunner|TASer]] and former [[RTA]] [[time trialler]], who is a current admin of the [[MKWii TAS (discord server)|MKWii TAS]] discord server. As an RTA player, he is the former world record holder on [[Grumble Volcano]], and was the first to set a world record using [[supersliding]]. As a TASer, he has been one of the most prolific contributors to the [[Regular track TASing|regular tracks]] since 2020, and is the leading TASer in total BKT count.
 
Excluding a short stint in 2014, Ejay started TASing regularly in 2018, by making submissions to challenges by [[Flamin' Funky's Challenges|Flamin' Funky]] and [[CLH Gaming's Challenges|CLH Gaming]]. His interest soon shifted to [[Tool-assisted freerun|TAFs]], followed by [[300cc TASing|300cc]] and [[Kart TASing|kart]] categories. In 2019, Ejay set his first [[Best known time|BKTs]], was added to the [[TASLabz]] private channels, and begun contributing to regular tracks. Since then, he has; found an RTA viable method for the [[GCN Waluigi Stadium]] [[Ultra|ultra shortcut]], co-discovered the [[GBA Bowser Castle 3]] and [[DS Desert Hills]] ultra shortcuts, discovered the [[Moo Moo Meadows]] ultra shortcut, discovered [[supergliding]], and found RTA viable strategies for supersliding on [[Luigi Circuit]] and [[N64 Mario Raceway]], among other contributions.
 
In the [[MKWii TAS Awards]], Ejay has been nominated for [[TASer of the Year]] five times (every year since its inception), and has contributed to the winners of the [[3lap TAS of the Year]] and [[Flap TAS of the Year]] in each year. He was also one of the first competitors in the [[MKWii TAS Competition]], achieving 11 medals (5 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze) from 2020 to 2021, and earning 3rd place in TAS Comp 2020. His submission to [[Task 11 2021]] is widely considered to be one of the best winning submissions of all time.
 
From 2017 to 2022, as a time trialler in the RTA community, Ejay set 45 Oceania records and 6 world records. Ejay created his YouTube channel, [https://youtube.com/@EjayB Ejay B], in March 2013, and begun uploading ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]'' videos. His channel often featured short clips or highlights from playing the game in [[Time Trials]] mode, such as shortcuts, glitches, completing tracks backwards, track exploration, or weird interactions with collision. In 2014, he briefly used [[Dolphin]] to record two TAF clips on [[Coconut Mall]], and in 2017, he started uploading pure time trial videos.

He would follow this up with a No Shortcut TAS, and an improvement to his main submission. This interest in challenges continued in [[CLH Gaming]]'s [[CLH Gaming's Challenges | Grumble Volcano challenge]] and Flamin' Funky's [[Flamin' Funky's Challenges#Challenge 3: DK Summit | DK Summit challenge]].
 
Soon after, Ejay started uploading [[Tool-assisted freerun|TAFs]], with a short clip on [[GCN DK Mountain]], and both a full-length TAF and short clip on [[Maple Treeway]]. This interest in TAFs was short-lived and soon replaced by [[300cc TASing|300cc]], which had been gaining popularity at the time. Ejay created several 300cc TASes in 2018 and 2019, on [[Toad's Factory]], [[N64 Mario Raceway]], [[Rainbow Road]], [[Grumble Volcano]], and [[Moonview Highway]]. Meanwhile, he was also uploading increasing amounts of RTA time trials, now reaching into Oceania top 10 rankings, with an Oceania record on Maple Treeway in early 2019, followed by his ''[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_LK07j9VWk Maple Treeway Glitch Tutorial!]'' video. This RTA success was superseded by reaching worldwide top 10 rankings on Grumble Volcano during the meta shift from [[Bit Bike]] to [[Quacker]]. The peak of this meta shift saw Ejay set six world records, with a now-iconic intro featured in his 17.651 time. His final world record and currently personal best of 16.852, set 19 September 2019, currently sits at 4th worldwide after 6 years.
