Sir Corvid, or simply Corvid, is an Italian TASer. He is one of the most prolific contributors to no glitch, regular track TASes. His extensive collaboration with Alego11 earned them recognition as a powerhouse duo who dominated TASing during 2024-2025. Corvid authored xx TAS BKTs in 2025 - the 2nd-highest output by a single person in a year.
Corvid began TASing in 2024 with a no glitch flap on Luigi Circuit. Such an optimised run for a newcomer earned him acclaim amongst the community, and he soon spearheaded a no glitch 3lap TAS on GBA Shy Guy Beach, which broke a record for the most authors for a single TAS (from 12 to 15). Since then, he has worked on numerous respected TASes, proved automatic drift to be faster on DS Yoshi Falls, discovered new mushroom abuse strategies on Mushroom Gorge, and co-discovered A-tech - a method to exit turns tighter.
Corvid, along with Alego11, was heavily responsible for revolutionising the standard of optimisation. He proved it was efficient to TAS only 1 lap of a course, and then create an optimised 3lap by simply copying and pasting lap 1 inputs onto laps 2 and 3 (using Advanced Ghost Comparison and TAS Toolkit). This workflow was previously thought to be unachievable due to QM, and its past inexistence was responsible for the lack of activity on no glitch categories.
In the 2024 MKWii TAS Awards, Corvid won 'New TASer of the Year' by a landslide, and was also nominated for TASer of the Year.
Career
2024: Emergence
Corvid created his YouTube channel, Sir Corvid, in September 2016, and initially posted Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled speedrunning content - namely time-trials and shortcut discoveries. He turned his focus to Mario Kart Wii in 2024, and uploaded a 21.325 flap on Luigi Circuit.
